Panel I Creation, Beginning

Here is seen the new-made world emerging from the hand of its creator out of clouds, chaos and shadow into the splendid light of Day. The moon and the stars also appear as part of the glorious handiwork of God (Psalm 19).
By this illustration are set forth many things, such as the Wonders of the Sun, of the Light, of the Stars, of the Moon, of the Clouds, of the Earth; of a home-world for man, while in his temporal condition; of the marvelous flight of the ages, and of our journey through the universe of space and time at eighteen miles miles per second; of the many laws of gravitation, motion, heat and cold; of the world spinning daily on its way in its constant progress around the Sun. Surely we may infer from this that we, as His creatures. should ever refer to Him, as the Light of the World; while we turn and return in the constant round of daily duty on earth.
