Panel IV  The Holy Spirit

While it is the Mission of Christ Jesus to be the universal Savior of mankind, it is the Commission of the Holy Spirit to impart the Life and Grace of Christ to each one who will believe and receive him. Hence is presented to the eye the wonder of the day of Pentecost, the gift of light with the illumination of soul by wisdom from on high; for the reading aright of the law and prophets, the speaking the saving truth in every tongue, the willingness, the readiness, the promptness, the quickness of insight at the hearing of the word of God; the strength of love; the courage of conviction; that enabled these witnesses to be the very first to go into all the world, to tell any and all souls of Him, "Whom to know aright is life eternal." The earnest faces and alert attitudes of the persons shown betoken the zeal of a people inspired with the love of truth and devotion to duty.
