Did you know that the Bible has a lot to say about welcoming and inviting? Jesus tells us that the kingdom of God is like a dinner and God is inviting everyone to come. God is a good host. No matter who we are or where we've been, God opens his house to us, through his Son, Jesus Christ.

We are honored to offer God's hospitality to you here at Grace Lutheran Church. We invite you to join our community of worship, fellowship, and service. We welcome everyone, especially those who may not be "typical" Lutherans of this area. Members of every age share a wide variety of interests and responsibilities in the community. While many of our members are descended from the German/European peoples who established the Lutheran Church in Pennsylvania, we rejoice as our congregation reflects more and more the growing diversity of this city neighborhood, and the beauty of all God's people.

There are certainly many churches in the Lancaster area, but we hope you find the spirit of Grace Church to be especially inviting and inspiring.

WHO ARE WE?

Grace Church is part of the Lutheran tradition of evangelical and catholic Christians who have been settled in Lancaster County for over 250 years. We celebrated our congregation's 130th anniversary in 2004. Seeking the Lord's sustaining grace our nearly 800 baptized members are committed to continuing our mission and ministry into the years ahead.
