Advent Season

The season of Advent marks the beginning of the church year and comprises the four weeks before Christmas.

Christmas Season

The Christmas season celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, the incarnation of God. It lasts for 12 days, December 24 through January 5.

Time after Epiphany

Celebrating the revelation of Christ to the world, the season of Epiphany extends from January 6 until the last Sunday before Ash Wednesday.

Lent

The forty days of Lent recall the 40 day fast of Jesus in the wilderness after his baptism

Easter Season

The Easter season extends from the Easter Vigil (Saturday night before Easter) through Pentecost Sunday

Time After Pentecost

Begins on the Monday following Pentecost and continues through Saturday afternoon before the first Sunday of Advent , some five to six months later.
